The Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce presented its 2008 Civic Medal of Honor for extraordinary civic and community leadership during its 119th Annual Dinner.

Fr. Gregory J. Boyle, S.J. was the recipient of one of the awards. Accepting for him (Fr. Greg is on sabbatical through April 2008) was Joey Ray Lucero, a Homeboy case manager and motivational speaker.
